Journal of Design Proofs

How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.

Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

Andrea

 Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. Attached you will notice a layout for your sign idea. Let me know what you think. Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out. Once we get the final go ahead your sign will mail within 1 working day. If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks, Toby

ps — I also, for reference, attached the previous sign layout.

Type of Sign Vinyl Worded .063 Aluminum; Color White; Size R or NR12″ X 18″ NR; Desired Fonts and Text I ordered a sign in April of 2006 that is very similar to this one. I wasn’t sure of the font I had before. I will describe this as best as possible. Thank you. Should all be centered. First line Font color red; Broadside font type; all upper case; should read–PARKING 2nd line font color red; Broadside font type; all lower case; should read–for 3rd line font color red; Broadside font type; capitalize each word; should read–Club Champion 4th line font color BLACK; Aloe font (unless Broadside can be put in italics); capitalize the name (not all caps though); should read–T.J. Dieck 5th line Font color red; Broadside font type; all upper case; should read–ONLY So; it should look like this below; with the specifications I mentioned above (centered; color and font specifications). The font size is whatever fits; but I do think the word “Parking” and the name “T.J. Dieck” should stand out a little more. (Maybe should be larger than the rest?) Whatever you think looks best–you’re the “specialist.” PARKING for Club Champion T.J. Dieck ONLY Thank you very much; Andrea Wieland;
