How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

Type of Sign Banner Sign; Size3′ x 6′; Colors White (and possibly black) lettering on blue banner; Desired Fonts and Text I am not very particular about the actual font used however I was most impressed by the layout and font used on the Mohave Valley Tractor banner. I am not sure if that type of layout would work with my particular sign but I am impressed with all of your work. The wording on the sign is Ashton Estates; subsidiary Bluebank Properties; LLC (this can be very small); New Homes for Sale; Residential Building Lots Available; (606)748-1114. The wording does not have to be exact esp. if you have a better suggestion. Thank you

Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. Attached you will notice a layout for your sign idea. Let me know what you think. Arching just 3 letters is hard to do. The tighter the arch, the less you tell it was arched… instead it would just look like 3 randomly placed letters. The slight arch gives little negative space with just 3 letters. You’ll notice 2 layouts with arched options. And also an option with a little ‘pop’.

Sign Details: Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size 24″ wide x 12″ tall Colors Navy; Desired Fonts and Text I like the Wide Glide font. We would like “T & J” arched over “TRANSPORTATION” in a larger font and “CA # 0346225” underneath that in a plainer; smaller font. We also need a smaller matching set of these for a tractor. We definitely want the navy blue; but am open to adding another color if you think. This is going on a white door; so we want something easy to read and that pops.
