How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

You’ll notice the 8×50 is a bit squeezed. Ideally, let us know the size you have to work with (overall height and length for ‘Truck Back Roll Up Door’), and I’ll adjust the layout to nicely fit these specs (instead of figuring with individual letter height) Once we get the final go ahead your lettering will mail within 1 working day. Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size 28×12; Price 240.00; Colors Riebling Farms- Metal Flake Silver w/ carbon fiber outline. Dunseth Farms- either black w/ silver or red outline or maybe navy blue w/ silver outline. Lyle Hudson- black w/ silver outline; Desired Fonts and TextI ordered some lettering from you last july or august and was really pleased with the product. I would now like to order another couple sets for three grain trucks we just got for our farm. would like to have the same font and design as what I already have for Riebling Farms Inc; which was in Dark Crystal font arched over Good Hope; Il below it in a smaller size. you also had a design in the middle that I kept a pic of on the computer that I can email if I need to. I also want a set that reads Dunseth Farms (arched) with Sciota; IL below it and smaller; like the Riebling Farms one. Also Lyle Hudson arched; Good Hope; IL below. Please put the design in the middle of Riebling and Dunseth but not Hudson. So that makes three sets; all Dark crystal font; i think 3 and 2 inch lettering on the names; arched above and straight below with the design in the middle of the first two. I will email you back the design for Riebling Farms that I ordered for my semi last summer. If you need anything cleared up let me know. Thank you; Eric Riebling

Oval deminsions 18″ X 10″. It needs to be the same thickness as the lettering. Text (Rose) should be centered in the oval.

I tend to agree, pink is not the best idea for a Kenworth. However, with the colors of the truck and lettering, a metal flake silver will give good contrast (keep in mind the attached is just a ‘photo-shop’ of that color).

Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Price 80.00; Colors Olympic Blue; shadowing in pink or metal flake silver or teal; Desired Fonts and Text “Mike” in smaller text straight across “COLEMAN” in larger text in an arch over the brand of “MC” (the M needs to be on it’s side pointing towards the C) “Lewiston; ID” below this in the same font. Font of Morocco for all lettering please with Shadowing for all lettering. Coloring; we would like the Olympic Blue; however; we aren’t sure on the shadowing color. Would it be possible to see a few examples of shadowing. My father seems to think the pink would be a good shadowing color; making the font stand out; I am not sure that is a good idea or not. It is for his farm truck; and I can’t see him driving around with anything pink on his truck. I think a Metal Flake Teal or Metal Flake Silver might look better. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This lettering is to go on a dark blue Kenworth 1985 truck.
