How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. Metallics are impossible (ie – gold). If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out.

The second layout adds a little more flair – but still has the same letter height or larger (company name is larger than 3″ on the second layout).

truck lettering details: Custom Truck Lettering; Size 8×30; Price60.00; Colors navy blue; Desired Fonts and Text zapf chancery font. This is for the door on a semi truck. Schwandt Farms Markesan; WI US DOT 1519162 I am attaching a picture of the truck so you can see where i have room for the letters. The previous owner had the name above the stripes and the town below.The space on top of thr stripe is about 8×30

I didnt know the color of the truck so I went with white. This should layout should work for layout purposes. The border represents 20×32. Also, I changed the dot to a ‘block’ lettering – since that’s technically the law (block 2″ lettering). But, if you want to ‘fudge’ a little let me know and I can change it back to scarecrow.
