Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. Attached you will notice a layout for truck lettering idea. Let me know what you think.

Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out. (if you have the time, this might not be a bad idea on the yellow – if you go with a layout with yellow) I failed to get the door width on the phone earlier (I just got the window to edge of door width). So, I went with what I had on file for the freightliner. Overall lettering size is 9″x29″. Of course, any of this can change.

If you have any ideas, suggestions, or changes let me know and I’ll send another layout. Once we get the final ‘go ahead’ your truck lettering will mail within 2 working days. If you have any questions let me know.

Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out. Also, no one makes a reflective burgundy (or anything close). We do have a metal flake burgundy, a metallic burgundy, and reflective red. But sadly, no one has a reflective burgundy available. Let me know what you think.

 All sizes in the layout are as they were last time (with the new lettering being as described in your order). Once we get the final ‘go ahead’ your signs will mail within 2 working days. If you have any questions let me know.

First, it is good to separate color selection from design selection. The first layout shows a general color layout in two different font styles – one corporate, the other traditional. Let me know what you think. Or if you have any changes or ideas and I’ll send another layout.

Next, color. The colors mentioned on your order are somewhat unusual – especially on a red truck. So also attached are a few layouts in similar color combinations. Again, let me know what you think and if you have any changes or ideas.

Bill Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. A couple of questions before starting on your layouts. I tried calling the numbers given, but did not get an answer. This time of year, I’ve learned not to leave messages – just incase the order is also a surprise Christmas gift. What color is the truck? This will help with getting together a good layout. Also, it would also be good to double check the size (24×36) just in case you have not already, since 24×36 is bigger than most door lettering. Also, I did not notice any font choices? Do you have anything particular in mind? If not a specific font, how about a ‘style’ (fancy, corporate, manly, cool, classic, etc…)? Let me know what you can and I’ll get a layout together. Hello. Please review the attached files and let me know what you think. The files could not be shown on the car image because of quality/size of the image – with these files being much larger. The .ai files can be opened at any resolution – so you can scale as you like, zooming in as close as you like.
You’ll notice that there are two .gif layouts – one with white outline on the blue letters, one without. Any thicker of an outline on these small letters and it becomes very balloony. You may want to forego this outline?

Lettering Details: I would like window graphics to apply to my 1999 Dodge Durango. I am looking for 3 graphics in all; one for the rear window and one each for the back/side windows (these will be identical). I have not taken hard measurements yet, but the rear glass is about 20″ x 48″ and the sides are about 18″ x 36″. I would want the graphic to say: VideoSculptors Artistic Professional in Digital Video and Photography
Legal – Corporate – Personal www.VideoSculptors.com (317) 627-7734
The top line would be in the “Storybook” font, 3 to 4″ tall, red with white outline
The next three text lines would be 1.5″ or so (with a 1/2 line separating lines 2 and 3), “Arial Black” font, white with black outline
The last two lines would be 1.5″, “Arial” font, white with black outline
All text would be center justified.

Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. For instance ‘red’ can appear from burgundy’s to ‘tomato red’ all depending on the monitors. Chrome and reflective is impossible. If an exact color match is needed let me know and samples can be mailed right out. However, for layout purposes, the attached should work nicely.
If you have any ideas, changes, or suggestions let me know and I’ll send another layout. Also, it would be good to double check the size you need (or the size of the door the lettering will fit). Keep in mind some freightliners have a window on the door of the passenger side that may need to be incorporated around.
Also a note about chrome: http://www.signspecialist.com/faqpublisher/faqpublisher.cgi?id=207 (keep it waxed and you’ll have no problems). You mentioned a speciality chrome – diamond pattern. The only diamond plate chome has a very huge printed diamond plate pattern. Because of this, in smaller lettering (like truck lettering) it is just plain ugly. The pattern can not be recognized because the lettering is not big enough – instead the chrome just looks splotchy. Even on bigger lettering, it just doesnt look that good. It sounded like a good idea to me also (diamond plate chrome), but I – and no one I’ve used it for has liked it. There is another ‘chrome’ that reflects light into prizms. However, the only pattern available in this style does not have good durability – 2 years with monthly waxing – 6 months with no waxing.

So I don’t recommend this either – but it also is an option.
