Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. Attached you will notice a layout for your truck lettering idea. Let me know what you think.

The first layout is as described in your order. You’ll notice that, at the height requested, the lettering has to be squeezed to fit the 26″ width limit (at normal spacing the sign would be 76″ long at the letter height requested). The second layout uses the 24×26 size as a template and the size requested as a proportional guide. Again, let me know what you think.. Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors.. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out. Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size 24×26; Colors Teal; Desired Fonts and Text Pristine Clean TM (Arial Bold; 6 inches high) Professional Pressure Cleaning (Times New Roman; 4 inches high) 863-797-6130 (Arial Bold; 6 inches high) The “t” in Pristine is actually a cross symbol comprised of three vertical lines close together and three horizontal lines close together for the t-bar. The “TM” after Clean is superscript for a trademark. Include a 4-inch ichthys symbol in the line above the phone number. Keep a 2-inch border between lines.

Sizes are:

Door lettering 9.5″x30″

Sleeper lettering 8″x17″

Truck Number: 3″x5.5″

Thank you for the email Toby, We will be removing the stripes and any stickers that are currently on the truck so you can go with the specs that you have. The main concern we have is the lettering on the front doors where their is a small window below. When it was measured before (I don’t have the truck available at his moment to measure) it was 20×15 within the strips. The sleeper portion within the strips starting at the first letter was measured at 15×12. We’ve did not measure the portion on the nose but then again, it will not matter due to the removal of the stripes.
Also, I spoke with the owner and he wanted to make one little change to the information on the door. He wants the telephone number to appear between the name and the city also thestate CA does not need to be referenced at all.

Lynda E. Hello. Thanks again for your order. I’m working on your layout and had one quick question about sizes. It would be good to get an overall size (ie — 12″x24″ or the like) for each area we will be lettering. Not just the letter height of each line,,, since lettering can be surprising longer than expected if this is not figured in. So, is it possible to get the overall size for the door, sleeper, and hood areas where the lettering will be? You can either give the ‘the size to fit within’ or the ‘size you’d like the overall lettering’. So, take a few minutes with a tape measure and let me know what you come up with. If you have any questions let me know. Thanks Toby ps — I do have the specs for this Peterbilt (except for the sleeper length), but you have extra decals that may need to be worked around (it looks like ifta stickers and a stripe on the sleeper and another decal on the door and finally, it would be good to get an overall size for the truck number so it will ‘nest’ well around the stripe).

Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors, with metallic silver being impossible. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out. Also, another option, we have metal flake silver. Again, we can not represent this on a monitor well. If you have the time, and you’d like to preview these options we can mail samples right out. Either way let me know.

You’ll notice I added the town/state. This is technically required under law (and also looks nice with this layout). Also, I scaled the USDOT to 2″ letter height — again to keep it legal. But, of course, however you like the lettering is fine with me,,, just let me know. Also, attached is a layout without the ‘leased to’ wording as an additional option.

The middle layout is according to the design described. The top and bottom layouts offer some different ideas. The top layout comes closer to the size mentioned (12×20). The other layouts only have a height of approx 7″. Again, let me know what you think.

Type of Lettering: Semi truck door; Size 12″ h x 20″ w; Colors Black; Desired Fonts and Text Font #15 Broadside MOHR FARMS Lenox; IA 50851 MOHR FARMS in all caps on the first line and as wide as the 2nd line which will be Lenox; IA 50851. We want both lines to be the same width. This will make MOHR FARMS stand out more than the 2nd line.
