How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. The first design is using our traditional layouts. The last layout is a new feature we will be offering soon on the website (full color banners). The price is $25 more over what is mentioned online.

You’ll notice I separated the first line to give it more impact and joined the last two lines and put the phone number first — this simply because it fit the layout better. I also tried the last two lines in 2 tone gold/black but the smaller letters got a little ‘balloony’ and hard to read. The one color black metal flake should give you the best contrast and most readability on these lines. Also your ‘tag line’ we made cursive – to make this information more ‘warm’ and to keep the emphasis on the company name. If you have any other ideas let me know.
