How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. Attached you will find a layout for your sign idea. Let me know what you think.
Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out. As far as later changing out the lettering, good idea. You can simply replace with a velcro’ed white scallop sign over the current white scalloped ‘sign’ (the area that says ‘u-pick strawberries’). Additional cost will be $15 per set. So, you’d need 3 sets for 3 signs for $45 (total of 6 ‘scallop’ signs).

Once we get the final ‘go ahead’ your signs will mail within 2 working days.

The first two signs will have 5 lines as follows: Farm Fresh Produce(Bean Sprout Font) U – Pick (Arial Bold) Strawberries (Black Chancery) 718-7105 (Arial Bold) 1 mile (With arrow pointing right on one side and left on reverse side.)(Arial Bold) We also want a second sign same as above but with “3 miles” and arrows. Same font types as above sign. May change after seeing the sign; of course or seeing your design. We want to create a sign on which we can easily cover the third line (strawberries) with other produce that comes in season. Can you make an insert or covering stip to put over top of the word strawberries? We want to replace strawberries with “blackberries” and then later with “sweet corn” and later with “cantelope” . A third sign designed as follows: Farm Fresh Produce (Bean Sprout) U – Pick (Arial Bold) Strawberries (Black Chancery) 718-7105 (Arial Bold) A large “Y” shaped arrow pointing drivers to both right and left fork of the road.
