How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

Hello. Thanks again for your recent order. Attached you will notice a layout for your truck lettering idea. Let me know what you think. Keep in mind monitors vary GREATLY in the way they display colors, with Gold leaf being impossible. However, this should work for layout purposes. Usually, gold leaf is best used on a bold font — so the effect can easily be noticed. However, if you have any specific fonts in mind let me know. If an exact color match is needed, samples can be mailed right out.
Once we get the final go ahead your signs will mail within 1 working day. If you have any questions let me know.

Sign Details: Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size 28″ x 18″Colors black and maybe gold leaf; Desired Fonts and Text font- Broadside Text- DeDonder Farms Reading KS Farm use not for hire Door size on the truck is approximately 32″ wide by 20″ tall. Would like to have the name and town near the upper center part of the door and “farm use” near the bottom. We were thinking “DeDonder Farms” in large letters; “Reading KS” in smaller letters and the “farm use not for hire” line in smaller letters yet. “DeDonder Farms” in the gold leaf color – if it could be outlined in black since the door is white. If not possible just make it all black and the rest of the letters black. If you have better suggestions please try them or let us know thank you
