How does the design process work when you order a sign from SignSpecialist.com? Below you will find our running journal of designs and sign specifications for Magnetic Signs, Banners, Yard Signs, Metal Signs, Temporary Signs, and Truck Lettering. These are actual orders from previous customers.
Our journal is updated daily with new designs. We only post in our journal the initial layout designed to the customers specifications. By the time the sign goes in production, many times, the design has changed dramatically from the initial proof you'll see below. Such is the nature of the design process. Never-the-less, this should give you a good feel as to how we and our customers design custom sign orders. If you have any questions, as usual, let us know - we'll be glad to help.

You mentioned on the phone the need to make this sign seen. The best would be red/white combination. I threw in a hot pink/white… to at least make you smile. This would be the ‘most visible’ but maybe not the most pleasant. 🙂

Sign Details: Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size 10×20; Colors Burgandy; Black; Desired Fonts and Text LEMKE CONSTRUCTION Lic. 491930 916-376-0380 Batman Forever font Burgandy primary color with some sort of shading in black for both name and phone number. License number to be smaller than name and phone number (so can be seen but not dominate design) (and solid black?)

Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size 12″ H x 24″ W; Colors one set Forest Green; one set Blue; Desired Fonts and Text 2 lines Erickson Trucking Burney; CA We’d like a font that is easily readable from a distance. Something along the lines of Balloon; Batman Forever; Boroughs; Brody; Brush Script. We’re also open to suggestions. If “” is too much to squeeze in; perhaps just “Erickson” would be better. The lettering will be applied to the doors of 2 used semi’s that have stripes painted horizontally across the door. The lettering will be placed between the two stripes. Please let us know what you feel would look best.

Sign Details: Type of Lettering Custom Truck Lettering; Size18H X 48W80; Colors Black/ gold leaf; Desired Fonts and Text1st line “LAVERTY & Co.” 6″high; font Floral in Gold Leaf w/ black outline. 2nd line “Fine Interior Trimwork” 2″ high; font Aloe in black 3rd line “Oriental N.C. 252-249-2953″ 3” high; font Floral in black Note I’m somewhat unsure of proportions on these signs; They are going on the sides of my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 (mid size) Maybe you can assist with your experience.
