Most of these concerns are taken care of with <a href=\"https:\/\/signspecialist.com\/instructions.php\" style=\"text-decoration:underline; color:black;\">good preparation<\/a> (removing all residues and oils).  Still some surfaces are oily on purpose! No matter how well you prep the surface, nothing sticks.  This helps dirt and grime not stick.  Generally that is a good thing.  But not for decals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to tell if the decal will stick?  Use the duct tape test: <\/strong><br \/>\n1. <a href=\"https:\/\/signspecialist.com\/instructions.php\" style=\"text-decoration:underline; color:black;\">Prepare the surface<\/a><br \/>\n2. Apply a piece of duct tape<br \/>\n3.
